Entry for 16th November, 2008 - My hose is better than your hose

I have completed another of my 100STIs (Small But Tangible Improvements). Hold on to your hats my friends, because on this occasion, I have really improved my life.
I have bought a reel for my hose.
I imagine that all of you who are troubled by unsightly hosepipes in your gardens are now reeling (see what I did there?) with jealously. While you are all suffering little pangs of anxiety every time you look at that unsightly hose in your garden, I on the other hand, can stroll proudly to my garage and gaze upon my hosepipe neatly coiled in its new reel. My life is full of order and serenity: yours is a chaotic midden of misery.
I used to play in a band you know. I used to want to fly helicopters.
