Day 23 What is going on with jumpers?
I appreciate that you are now thinking that my blog is about to hit a new all-time high. After all, I am sure the that the subject of knitwear is high on your list of priorities. It certainly makes things like the War in the Gulf, the state of the transport system and the like pale into insignificance.
And what is my gripe about jumpers you ask? Well, I'm glad you did, because it is this: many jumpers now in the shops are not jumpers at all, but odd hybrid garments, consisting partly of jumper and partly of a small part of some other garment sown inside. For example, a v-neck with a bit of a t-shirt, or a tank top with shirt sleeves and collar poking out.
What is this all about? Are we now incapable of remembering to put on the extra layer? Or is it because we men are incapable of co-ordinating layers? If so, I am insulted. I am married and one of my Significant Other's important functions is to tell me that I do mot look fetching in a velour puce cardigan teamed with a aquamarine t-shirt.
Whatever next? Pants sewn into trousers? Actually, that's not a bad idea. Think of the time you could save over the year - valuable time you could devote to stupid Kind Act Experiments. Perhaps I should write to Mr George of Asda with my suggestion.
Anyway, I still remembered my Kind Act, which was to say thank you to some people for some good deeds performed to me.
