Kind Act Count to Date: 81
Day 20 The Kind Actors have been hard at work making cake, offering tea to fasting builders and taking their mothers shopping. I'm keeping today's Kind Act private in another effort to intrigue you.
Me and the family had lunch in a big Starbucks today: I have become a big fan of globalisation in recent months, largely because the aisles of Starbucks are wide enough to take a double pram with ease, an the parking outside is excellent. I will return to being a fan of diverse local outlets when I do not have two small pre-school children to manoeuvre amongst the rows of wholeseed foodstuffs. Until then, my dollar is going straight to Seattle.
I was sitting admiring the perfect family of four at the next table. Mum and dad were clearly in control: they sat in their trendy clothes from Next, as their beautiful curly haired child tucked into some fruit. Their changing bag was neat and functional, and their children beautifully-behaved and clean and wholesome.
Meanwhile, the Small Bald Person (who seemed to be entirely covered in chocolate - Oh God - I hope it was chocolate) repeatedly shouted very loudly "DADDY FUNNY! DADDY FUNNY! DADDY FUNNY!", the Bean Bag Boy farted and cried (both at an unusually high volume) and my Significant Other and I supped mugs of coffee in our bedraggled cagoules.
