Day 19 I am back from my nephew's fifth birthday party. I am very tired.
If some boffin could but work it out, I'm sure that boys of five years old are the answer to the world's energy crisis. If my nephew alone could be wired up to the National Grid, all you would need to do is feed him fourteen red smarties and a packet of jelly tots and he'd produce enough energy to light up Dundee for a year. If they could somehow line up a series of 300 small boys in a parallel circuit, fossil fuels would become obsolete overnight.
My Kind Act was simple - I gave to charity, when normally I would have walked past the collector. I have a sneaking feeling that some Charities might be reading this blog and are lying in wait for me. There seem to be a lot of people waving collecting tins at me these days.
