Entry for September 13, 2007

Welcome to 31 Days of Kindness
If you're having difficulty following the theme click here and all will be revealed
(The Link also gives the Rules on What Qualifies as a Kind Act)
Remember to let me know you're own little Acts of Kindness in the Comments
Kind Act Count to Date: 51
Day 14 Vicki has killed some mice and Jackie has given an early birthday present, and thus we have broken our half century of Kind Acts. Just think of that: 50 little pleasant moments, little flashes of happiness across the globe. I can see the world as if from space, and as I gaze down from my little capsule there are brief flashes of light. They seem unconnected, but follow the telecoms cables and you will eventually find a common thread - dedicated and good-hearted bloggers.
At any event, my KAK (Kind Act Karma) is exploding. The old photos I circulated have resulted in a happy surprise. My old friends - many of whom I haven't really talked to for twenty years - are going to meet up at Christmas. We have spent the day at our respective desks, idly e-mailing each other. And it feels like the years have melted away - old jokes, old voices, old stories have been hurtling across the ether.
And it has made me happy, and a bit carefree. So the Kind Act Experiment is proving a success (and we're only half way through).
Be bold Kind Actors of 360 Land - a big push and we can make 100 Kind Acts. And as we gaze down from space, the planet will be lit up like fairyland with the good deeds of the Kind Actors of 360land.
I got a bottle of champagne from a client today, and I gave it away! I got more of a kick out of that than I did out of drinking it.
Stay kind...
