Remember to let me know you're own little Acts of Kindness in the Comments
Kind Act Count to Date: 43
Day 12 Kind Act Karma (KAK) is real. You might remember that a few days ago I sent an old photo out to a few friends that I haven't seen for years. Since then old friends of mine have been circulating old photos. As a result I've had several good laughs (mostly at how thin we are all well - who could remember that once the Couch Potato was just a slip of a kitten) and I've also got hold of e-mail addresses for a number of friends I'd totally lost touch with.
Maybe that's why kind acts make us happy. We are social animals. Perhaps kind acts are ways of establishing and retaining connections - like monkeys grooming one another. Having said this, I am not going to test the theory by asking the ladies from the bakers if they's mind me spending half an hour picking fleas out their hair.
My kind act today was to buy my secretary a bottle of Baccardi Breezer. She's been moaning that the only thing that would make working for me bearable would be a bottle of rum and a straw. So I obliged.
