Welcome to 31 Days of Kindness
If you're having difficulty following the theme click here and all will be revealed
(The Link also gives the Rules on What Qualifies as a Kind Act)
Remember to let me know you're own little Acts of Kindness in the Comments
Kind Act Count to Date: 25
Day 6 It looks like, thanks to Patti (my newly appointed Kind Acts Ambassador to Continental Europe) Kind Acts will shortly be crossing the Channel (or La Manche as you Frenchies might have it). Shortly I expect a little cell of do-gooding to be formed deep in the heart of the EC. Who knows where it will spread from there...
Remember, I want to know how your Kind Deeds are affecting your own happiness too. Do you feel better? Do you feel a little glow in your heart as you spread a little happiness? Has karma been kind to you? Or have your good deeds been cast back to you, leaving you feeling depressed and jaded about the human condition?
For today's Kind Act I bought cakes for everyone in the office. This is normally an act only performed ritually when one of us goes on holiday. At holiday times the departee must buy cakes for everyone else. It is a sort of peace offering to assuage an angry mob and soothe their envious rage.
However, today I bought cakes just for the hell of it. Everyone seemed happy about it, and so was I.
