Entry for November 27, 2006

As expected, it's been a bit of a frantic day trying to arrange our gig at the Glasgow Comedy Festival, but I'm pleased to say all the running around has been worth it. We have a confirmed slot in the official festival.
The dates are Sunday 11th - Tuesday 13th March, and the venue is the beautiful St Andrews in the Square - it's well worth having a look at their website to check out the facilities. They've got a nice cafe/bar downstairs too if anyone fancies a nosey.
We're doing my play "Match Play" which ran at the Edinburgh Fringe a few years back. The play's been through one re-write since then, and the plan is to tidy it up a bit more for the run in Glasgow.
This of course depends entirely on me sticking to my schedule and finishing the fair draft of the law book by the end of the year. The chances of this are, as regular readers (and the very patient publishers) will be aware, vanishingly small, but the fact that the play's looming is already having a laxative effect. I may be having a few late nights in the run up to Christmas.
Speaking of which, must press on.
