Get your lugs round the Snow Patrol Album
On my way to a wee game of badminton last night I was listening to the new(ish) Snow Patrol album - "Eyes Open". Get it. No excuses. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Eyes-Open-Snow-Patrol/dp/B000ETR9K6
It was playing shortly after my wee girl was born -
"It's so clear now that you are all that I have I have no fear cos you are all that I have It's so clear now that you are all that I have I have no fear cos you are all that I have You're cinematic razor sharp A welcome arrow through the heart "
I mean - HOW GOOD IS THAT - but even for non-sentimental reasons, it's one of those albums that remind you why you loved music when you were 15. I can imagine lovelorn teenagers lying on bedroom floors throughout suburbia, learning the lyrics and agonising in poetry over their undying love for the big fat lassie that works in the video shop.
To say nothing of nearly-40-year-old dads speeding along the Blantyre Farm Road on their way to the badminton.
