I have planted some potatoes.
There, that has caught you attention hasn't it? I bet you are glad you clicked Alan B's blog today. "Hmmm" you thought, "I wonder what fascinating little vignette Mr B has today." Will he be waxing lyrical about the war in Iraq? Will he be musing on the likely direction of the Labour governement under Brown? How will his meanderings shed light on the political and moral climate within which I find myself?
And now you have stumbled onto my potato-planting vignette. Do you feel complete now? Have I made your day?
I planted them in two separate areas of the garden, with different soil conditions! It is an experiment of sorts. If you come in here regularly i will update you. Does that thrill you? Does it send a tingle down your spine?
You may find yourself getting excited tomorrow - early - at your office desk. You'll know you should be working. But - will you be able to resist yahoo.com and the promise of more information about my spuds? I don't think you will you know... There are too many questions beginning to gestate in your head already. What variety are they? How far apart did he plant them? Did he use compost?
