Continuing my foreign film jamboree, I watched Amelie the other night. Buy it, hire it, steal it but somehow watch it. It's just lovely - funny and touching and one of those films that opens up windows into other worlds. On top of that it make you feel that life is worth living. Now that's worth a fiver off Amazon.
I am having a week of productivity - I have a frightening amount to get done, and if I look too hard at the piles of things, I will decend the stairway called panic into the basement of despair. So I am resolved only to look at little bits of the pending pile at any given moment, and that way I will fool myself into imagining that progress is being made.
