I got an e-mail from the publisher. The e-mail read -
"Hi Alan, It's been a while since we spoke - how's the book going".
However, I understand the sub-text -
"Where have you gone? Why has there been a deathly hush from you? We know your crafty ways and we are watching you. Remember - we know where you live. We have ways of making you deliver what you promised: ways that involve electrodes and crude outmoded dental equipment. Don't sleep too soundly."
