That's the run of Match Play complete, and we can now say that Practical Magic have "done" the Glasgow Comedy Festival. The staff at the venue were lovely, and I've seen lots of friends at the show over the three days, so it's been a pleasurable wee show to do.
It feels a bit odd though to finish a run on a Tuesday night. Normally, after unloading the van, you get a chance to have a couple of beers with the stage crew, but this time it's off to bed, to get ready for work in the morning. However, I am sure that the BBC will have googled themselves, and now having read yesterday's entry in the blog, are preparing my contract for "Match Play - The Sitcom". It will only be a matter of weeks before I retire from the law, and then it will not matter to me if shows end on a Tuesday. I shall be free to guzzle midweek beers without thought of retribution from angry clients.
