Entry for June 14, 2007

Ah - the Edinburgh Fringe programme is out - get a copy at http://www.edfringe.com/ - there you can see Sketchy! amidst the thousands of other shows.
One night only at the Fringe this year because the Fringe inconveniently coincides with the likely date for the next baldy addition to the family. This was bad planning. You don't see Andrew Llloyd Webber missing the opening night of his latest musical "Ghostie of the Music Hall" because he's due to sire another sprog. No - he has the good sense to keep his hand on his ha'penny nine months before opening night. His wife comes in wearing her silky nightie and Lord Webber says "No Sarah! Get thee gone with your brazen ways. I know I named my hit musical Cats after my favourite part of you, but I must be strong."
That is why he has been knighted for his works for the British Theatre, whereas I am more likely to get dragged out the stage door by most house managers and be hit repeatedly over the head with a bin lid.
