Entry for July 30, 2007

Day 10 of The YES Experiment
If anyone's having difficulty following the theme of these blog entries, click on the link above and all will be explained.
No evangelists yet.
Nor has there been any further word from the British Cycling Federation. I suspect that they are compiling a large dossier of important materials for Cycling Marshalls, and this will be dispatched to me by motor cycling courier at any moment. I am having a sign made for my car window "Cycling Marshall on Essential Business", so that I can park with impunity on double yellow lines and in the fast lane of the motorway.
The lack of essential marshalling information and doorstepping Christians has left me free this evening to work on the last big chapter of the book, which is now proudly churning off the printer. I have an introduction and an overview to finish and I should be able to start cross-referencing straight after that.
Today's Yes! is straightforward: I went into amazon.com. Is there a better virtual place to be than amazon.com - I think not - if there is a heaven for me, then I suspect that it will involve me being pixelated and beamed directly into the infinite shelves of amazon, to wander happily for eternity. Although, if it was truly to be heaven, there would need to be a bacon roll shop on the mezzanine. And lots of cheese. And brunette shop assistants.
Anyway, back to the yes. I went onto amazon and resolved say Yes! to the first album on my list of recommendations that I didn't recognise. Here it is -
Fear of a Blank Planet - Porcupine Tree
It is a style of music called New Prog. I expect to have my horizons expanded. I will post a review shortly.
