I'm catching up on some reading today because it's the last two days of my mediation training this week, so it's been a day of lounging around reading, which has been nice. I have to say that my reading has dipped off substantially since the arrival of the Winston Chuchill lookalike.
Here are some more of the things from my former life that I look back on with fondness -
1. Reading the Sunday papers in bed.
2. Waking up after the alarm clock.
3. "Let's go to the pictures!"
4. Ignorance of the workings of a breast pump.
5. Disposable income.
6. Clothes stained by only my own bodily fluids.
7. Indulging my hangover.
8. Floor space.
9. Wardrobe space.
10. My independence; my liberty; my youth - yes, Sweet Jesus, my long lost youth forever lost.
