Entry for January 10, 2007

I see my good friend Iain has succumbed to the temptation of the blog - you'll see his oddly spiky hairdo on my friends list at http://360.yahoo.com/alanbayley . Click on his lovely face and indulge him by reading his rants. Do not overdo the praise though; he is a man who needs little encouragement to find new ways to waste his time.
The Scottish Executive are at it again I see. Now they have started with adverts saying we should choose not to eat foods that are bad for us. That is actually what the adverts say - you can "choose" the foods you eat.
Well, stone the crows.
I never thought of that. We shouldn't be eating crisps and drinking fizzy pop. It will make us fat. We can "choose" not to. Well, Mr McConnell and your satanic disciples, I can "choose" to come and kick your head in if you waste any more of my tax on these earth-shatteringly inane adverts. You can "choose" to pick your shattered teeth off the carpet, or you can "choose" not to.
For my part I have "chosen" to go to the kitchen and eat a family size pack of Cheesy Wotsits and a packet of maltesers every time one of your stupid stupid adverts comes on. So the whole thing's counter-productive.
