First things first - I think I've found a slightly better way to view the blog through Yahoo 360. Here's the address - http://360.yahoo.com/alanbayley - give it a try. It looks better to me.
I have returned to Hamilton bearing three of my dad's ten computers. One of them is very pretty. It has a silver case and a nice blue light that comes on when it is working. The blue light is not yet on.
My home office is in such a state of disorder it is giving me a migraine. So far I have spent three hours tonight and managed to get one PC working, which I thought was quite a good strike rate for a man who still can't work the DVD recorder, and still has some problems with propelling pencils.
So far, the only thing I seem to have lost is all of my better half's e-mails, her email address book and her e-mail account. I can't imagine these things are important to her. At any rate I will have left for work tomorrow before she finds out, and can always blame it on my dad.
