It's been a busy old week so it was good to here the school bell ring at five o'clock and then make for the playground. On this occasion the playground was east Kilbride Arts Centre for an early evening rehearsal which went really well. I'm pleased to say that the rewrite of Match Play is now finished. All I need to do is a wee tidy up and then I can hit save and get on with rehearsing the thing.
It's going to be a quietish weekend apart from my sojourn to the BBC tomorrow. I'm secretly looking forward to it, although I understand it's just going to be a kind of mini lecture about a new radio show. I suspect that it'll just be a few guidelines on script submissions, but time will tell. I plan to have a wee beer in the West End afterwards tomorrow. Which'll be a nice way to kick off the weekend.
