Entry for December 3, 2006

I am clearly turning into my father. It's raining outside, and I'm happily ensconsed in front of the computer with a cup of coffee, and Michael Parkinson on Radio 2.
The thought of a whole afternoon cocooned in here, working on the book and drinking more coffee than is good for me is hugely appealing. It seems a lot easier writing during the day at the weekend, than it is having to put in a couple of hours after work midweek.
