Kind Act Count to Date: 5
Day 2 Well, we are off to a flying start, with 5 acts of kindness in two days. Thanks go to Col, who let her son have a lie in. And also, due to Jackie's generosity, Ted may just believe there is such a thing as a free lunch, and someone's day has been brightened.
Remember though - I need your Acts of Kindness, if we are to achieve the target of 71. Just think, 71 little improvements to the world. We can do it. I know we can.
I bought a colleague a bottle of wine today. It was the end of our financial year in the office today, and we've all been working particularly hard, and come through some quite significant changes in the office. At 4 o'clock I decided I wasn't going to let the year pass unmarked (as I usually do) and nipped out to get some bubbly for my partner. He looked a bit bemused, but after the initial surprise, he looked happy and we had a nice chat about the way the business is going.
And - here is karma in operation - when I went to pack up for the night, there were two nice bottles of red on my desk. I m beginning to formulate a theory about the Reciprocity of Kind Acts. Perhaps Ted is now buying lunch for someone else...
