I believe that I have now persuaded at least 2 people other than me to write a novel during the 31 Days of March. My friend Blondie seems to be committed and my sister (in spite of her protestations about lack of time) proudly sent me a text today announcing that she has a title for the novel that she will be writing.
If anyone from any major publishing houses is reading this, then you should be aware that I am currently entertaining offers of advances for my debut novel. Anything over six figures will give you a reasonable chance of securing the deal, although of course film rights are to be negotiated separately and are subject to the availability of Brad Pitt for the role of the tortured but brilliant and strangely attractive author.
