I managed to bag another Qualifying Cup of Tea in amongst my novel drinking. This is me, my great pal from university days Learned Counsel, and Mr Blobby. You all know which one is me, but can you distinguish between the other two. I have trouble, and I've known Learned Counsel for more than twenty years.
We were at the soft play area today. It is the perfect venue to take small children. Essentially, it allows negligent parents to eat rolls and sausage whilst they abandon their children within a big room. I do not venture much into the childrens' room. It is a bit like Lord of the Flies in there. I am sure that there is a big kid with a conch shell, and sometimes there is the sound of feasting.
I had a good day on the novel today, notching up nearly 3,000 words. I have discovered that drinking strongbow cider whilst writing improves my productivity. I may have to write to Tom Clancy and JK Rowling with this little tip.
