Another slow day for the writing I'm afraid. A hectic day at work did the damage, and by the time I got in the lure of a can of export was overwhelming. As a result I only just broke the thousand word barrier. I am clearly a lacklustre novelist and no good will ever come of me.
The problem with the book now is that I've introduced the characters, and I now need to urge them to actually do something. I feel that having them sit around for the next 38,000 words drinking tea, is not going to make for a very saleable product. Perhaps in retrospect, it was a bit rash starting a novel when I had no plot.
