I am now worrying that I am running out of friends though. I have a horrible fear that this experiment is going to expose how deeply unpopular I am. I shall be very sad if I reach 10 QCTs and get no further - that would suggest that I have only managed to make one friend every four years of my life. That seems to be a very poor hit rate. I imagine that even Robert Maxwell had a better friends:years ratio than me.
I am beginning to get the feeling that my funeral will be very poorly attended. Please come along. I will be watching out for you. If you don't show up I shall haunt your houses and drive your property prices down.
