Entry for 6th November, 2008 - Trainspotting

Here is another wee publicity photo taken with my lovely new lens. (For those of you who read photography manuals under the covers late at night when your parents are asleep in the room next door – it’s a Nikor 1.8. Oooh – even typing the words is faintly arousing).
This one’s for “Trainspotting” which we’re taking to the Fringe later this year. I fear, however, young Dan who appears in the picture is too good looking and will encourage impressionable young people to take nasty drugs. I am going to have to do something about this, so that our audience are not drawn like lemmings towards a slow demise in a seedy flat in Musselburgh.
I therefore intend to doctor the image so that he has a set of vampire teeth and a swastika on his forehead, so that there is a very clear “Just say no,” message.
