Hi all. Just a bit of a worthy blog today. For all of my regulars, you'll remember that I have a page on Justgiving where you can donate to Sense Scotland who do some sterling work, and who could use your support. Iif you get a kick out the blog from time to time, and feel a fiver would be better in the hands of Sense than your usual bookmaker, I'd love it if you could stop by.
I don't think I'll make my rather ambitious target that I set on the Justgiving page, but I suspect that all donations will do some very good work. I also see that if you donate, the Inland Revenue also have to dip into their pockets, and that cannot be a bad thing.
I am self-employed, and as a result have a deep-seated hatred of the Inland Revenue, and their Nazgul steeds. As far as I can tell, they expect me to single-handedly pay for the entire welfare state. I will not be surprised if they re-direct NHS24 telephone calls to my house shortly, and expect me to empty the bins throughout Baillieston.
