Entry for 29th September, 2008 - Couch Potato's Erroneous Claims

I see that the Couch Potato has the temerity to say that his latest Campaign of Random Gifts is inspired by my “many mini-blog campaigns”.

There is nothing mini about my campaigns Couchy. Your tiddling wee project is scheduled to last only a wee. That is a mini campaign. In fact it isn’t really a campaign at all in the military sense. It’s more like a manoeuvre. In fact even that’s too big a metaphor. It’s an exercise. It’s a warm up.
My campaigns aren’t just little war games, played out on the safety of Salisbury Plain. Mine are all out war my starchy root vegetable friend. 31 DAYS OF YES. 31 DAYS OF KIND ACTS. These are the real thing – daft projects where you could get really injured.
I still want my pressie though. I love you Couch.
