Entry for 27th May, 2008

It has been a busy old day again. I am delighted to say that I have got the performing rights to stage Steven King's "Misery" at East Kilbride in November. I feel that Lanarkshire is ripe for a tale of a mental old stalker with a talent for home surgery. It is pleasing to note that I will be spending the rest of this year tackling two plays dealing with the happy topic of mental illness. It is nice to have a hobby.
My good friend Ali B will be taking on the role of the nutty female, a part which she says she was born to play. Now I only have to find her a man two kneecap once a night and twice on Saturdays. If any of you know a fifty-year old masochist who can also act, please ask them to come over to my place. If you think that it will entice them, tell them I have a dungeon, two table tennis bats and a Mars bar. That should get them dashing along the M8.
