And lo, Alan B found that his garden was waterlogged.
And so it came to pass that the green grass of his pasture became overmoist. For the drainage of the men from Miller Homes was poor and inadequate. And the men from Miller Homes did leave the site before their work there was done, and they did feast at the expense of Alan B. And they did purchase fifty skins of wine which they did consume, while outside it rained for forty days and forty nights.
And on the forty first day it did stop raining. And then Alan B did step forth from his house and did look upon his garden. And what was there saddened him. For the grass of his green pasture had gone. And where the grass had been, there now was only low and creeping moss.
And the moss was everywhere. And Alan B was brought close to anger as he thought upon the bag of silver he had given to Miller Homes for turfing the ground of his meadow. And Alan B's mood became dark and brooding. And his Significant Other did say unto him: "Stop moping around with a gob on ye. You are getting on my nips you grumpy git."
For Mrs B is direct.
So Alan B did rise from his house and did venture forth to the House of Focus where he did make a bargain with the Men of Focus. And the bargain was good. The bargain was four pounds ninety nine for a bag of Miracle Grow with a three in one action.
And Alan B did return. And he did smite the moss.
And it was good.
