The Couch Potato has kindly become my fourth QCT (Qualifying Cup of Tea). This is him and me sharing a cuppa at his house yesterday. He was particularly hospitable, having ordered his wife to prepare a tray of fresh scones for the occasion. (As Gordon Ramsay would say - Scone. Butter. Jam. Done!)
The Couch Potato is currently somewhat shaggy-haired. You will note that he is currently trying to cultivate a look that is somewhere between King Charles I and legendary porn star Ron Jeremy. (Couch - I think that there may be a job for you as a RJ lookalike there provided, of course, that you keep your trousers on).
For the record Couch takes his tea strongish with milk but no sugar. I am also delighted to report that Mr and Mr P use Fairtrade tea; you cannot disguise a noble heart. I imagine that the tea-pickers of Sri Lanka are currently driving around in Jaguars, as a result of the largess of people like the Potatos.
I am pleased to report that Couch remains a man of predictability, explaining to me that his plans for the day were to "sit on his couch, read the paper, drink beer and eat a curry." It is important that your goals in life are achievable.
