I mentioned in yesterday's entry that my Significant Other and I are looking for wooden flooring at the moment. As a result, I found myself in the industrial estate at the weekend in a store that bills itself as "The One Stop Wood Floor Shop."
I for one am glad that "The One Stop Wood Floor Shop" now exists. I imagine in days gone by that you (like me), whenever you bought a new wooden floor, had to traipse around four or five different shops in order to get your floor. You would have to order the flooring itself from one store. Then, you would have to travel miles to find some underlay. After that, you'd need to go to the specialist wooden floor glue shop, before spending half an hour at the queue in the retailer that sold beading for around the skirting.
All that hassle has now been taken away by "The One Stop Wooden Floor Shop". Now all your flooring needs are met under the one roof.. It is so convenient. In many ways the advent of "The One Stop Wood Floor Shop" is like the discovery of the wheel, or the invention of the telephone.
I don't know how we all managed before.
