The blog postings are getting closer to real time! Those of you who follow my every word will know that I took a couple of months out of posting to finish my law book, but I've gradually been clawing back the days, and I'm now only a week away from real time. It feels good - like I'm about to lap a runner in a long distance race. I have the strange feeling that when the date of the blog co-incides with the real world that something mystical will happen. It will be like when the midsummer sun shines through the keystones at Stonehenge. Somehow a gateway to another universe will open, and I will reach an enlightened state.
At the very least I intend to reward myself with a can of McEwan's Export. (The path to enlightenment has many possible routes).
It would be nice to think that I can get things up to date for the 1st of March when the great 31 Day Novel may or may not start. That would mean that my word count can be relayed to you in real time, so that you can whoop with delight at my triumphs, and weep with me at my failures.
