I have completed the 15 th of my 100 STIs (Small But Tangible Improvements), by putting up some foam stickers up in the kids’ playhouse.
We call it the “playhouse”. It is actually a garden shed. I take the pragmatic view that the children will some day grow up and leave me and for the few short months that I have my life back before I go to the nursing home, I will need somewhere to put the garden tools. There seems little point to me in spending good money on a bespoke playhouse which will only give the children pleasure for 10 or 12 years. It is best to plan for the future.
In much the same way the “lego set” is actually a bag of clothes pegs”; the “Dr Seuss Bedtime Stories” is a copy of the Haines manual for the Volkswagen Golf Mark 2; and “teddy” is actually a pair of pliers.
