As I mentioned in my last post, I am jamming at the weekend. In addition to this, it looks like I am having a prelimenary Dungeons and Dragons evening with a couple of my mates on Friday, so all in all it is going to be a very retrospective weekend. Music and Dungeons and Dragons are probably the two most significant hobbies from my late teens that have really gone by the wayside over the years. Every time I think about my plans for the weekend, I have a nagging feeling that I should be spending more time studying for my O Grades.
Signs are looking quite positive that at least one of our Edinburgh Fringe shows for later in the year is going to be taken by the Smirnoff Underbelly venue. I really hope this comes off, because it'd be great to perform in one of the more recognised spaces. (Actually, what I mean is that it'd be great to drink in the bar of one of the more recognised spaces because then there's more chance of meeting semi-famous people who have been on the telly, and pretending for a week that I work in the Arts. However, I'd never repeat these thoughts out loud, because then people would see me for the shallow, celebrity-loving fool that I truly am).
