My faith in the powers of the humble cup of tea to reach out and form bonds amongst human beings throughout the world has not been misplaced.
My 360 friends Leigh O and Fish Face are coming all the way to Scotland from the South of England just to have a cup of tea with me! I am so excited that I am almost on the point of warming the teapot for them already. There is clearly something about the promise of a cuppa which is drawing them North in the hope of adventure, new horizons, and at the very least a nice slice of cake.
I confess that I was beginning to worry if I would ever make my total of 40 - there is such a long way to go. I was dejected; downhearted. But perhaps I should just put my faith in the mystic combination of boiling water and fragrant leaves from India. There is magic in those ingredients that I should not question or doubt.
