I am struggling for time this week! I have been flying around all over Scotland with work (which is unusual for me) and it's meant I've not been in the office as much as I'd like. It feels like I've been fighting fires all week, rather than putting in place a carefully planned fire-prevention policy involving careful training of the firefighters.
I felt that I needed some advice from one of my many self-help books. Unfortunately my copy of "Time Management for the Handsome Manager who Looks Surprisingly Young for the Age of 41" does not have a chapter called "How to Magically Create More Time". I checked. Twice. Instead it has a lot of worthy stuff which boils down to: "Knuckle down. Get a move on. Stop wasting time man."
It may be true, but I don't want worthy advice. I want sorcery. I want alchemy. I want the path to truth and beauty. Is that too much to ask?
