Entry for 15th July, 2008

Well done to my good pal Leigh O, who is getting a London premier of a short film that he co-wrote.
I say "Well done" through a seething jealous rage , of course. I say it in the way that Salieri might say to Mozart: "Yes - I suppose "The Magic Flute" might have one or two decent tunes in it."
I say it in a way that might suggest that, if I find him asleep one night (perhaps after stealthily breaking into his house wearing latex gloves and a George W. Bush mask) I might take a knife to his rib cage, and then rend his still-beating heart from his body, daub myself with his genius blood and shout "That should have been me!!!!"
So - well done Leigh. Well done.
