I am off to play racketball tonight for the first time in months and months. I fear that this will probably be my last blog posting, as I am likely to expire on the court. I appreciate that this will come as as relief to most of my regular readers, who only come in here regularly because they have been programmed by the subliminal messages that I have embedded deep in the HTML code of these pages. (Now you know why you often doodle the words "Alan B's Blog is Great!" during important business meetings).
Whilst it may come as a relief to you lot to see that these entries have stopped, it will not be good news for me as I will be dead. When the obituaries appear in the paper, people will say "Well. He was over 40 and had a heart murmur. It was foolish of him to set foot on a squash court. He night as well have held a loaded gun to his temple."
If I do slip off my mortal coil, I would like at least 32 of you to pose with my corpse whilst sipping a cup of tea. That way my life will not be viewed as a complete failure, and I shall rest easy in my urn.
