A disastrous day! I am plainly a bad novelist and must be punished! I should be convicted by the International Wordcount Court and sent for a hundred days hard labour in the Fiction Mines of Siberia, where I will need to sit at the controls of my industrial laptop and mine for paragraphs for the next Steven King novel.
I also got coffee grinds in my eye today. Fresh coffee and contact lenses are not the best of bedfellows. Unless you happened to be an outside observer who gets kicks out of useless novelists writhing on the kitchen floor shouting "Damn you Dow Egberts, how you sting."
