I have been sharing my body with several million members of the common cold virus this week. They were uninvited guests and have outstayed their welcome. I have turned on the overhead light, stood up and looked blatantly at the door. However, they are still lingering.
One of the pleasant side effects is that I have been feeling fairly tired in the evening and have had to slow down from my usual frenetic activity. So this week I have mostly been sitting in my office listening to music and reading CD sleeve notes. Sometimes I stop to eat some cheese, but it rarely gets more energetic than that.
So, in addition to the viral hordes of uninvited guests, I have also had the chance to catch up with some old friends on the stereo. It has pleased me greatly.
