Here is Leigh O enjoying QCT (Qualifying Cup of Tea) number 19. I have just realised that I have only 20 days left and 21 cups of tea to bag. I fear I may be overstretching myself somewhat. Are you getting excited yet? You should be. I only undertake these daft projects for your entertainment. It is better than Euro 2008 in here. 21 QCTs in 20 days? That's like extra time, penalties and Angelina Jolie turning up at your front door in a shortie nightie all in one. This is entertainment of the highest order. No wonder you are gripped.
At any event, Leigh O is my first 360 friend to enjoy a QCT. He and his good lady travelled all the way from the South East of England to help me meet the challenge. I hope that some of my so-called Scottish friends are sitting up and taking notice at this point. Yes - my virtual friends are better friends than you. You should be ashamed. Not even making the short trip up the M8 to have a brew with me, whilst Leigh O spends four and a half hours on a train. He is a trooper. You are crap friends. When you are at my funeral you will feel guilty.
Actually, it is a bit unfair to class him as a virtual friend. Now that I have actually met him, he has stepped out of the computer and firmly into the world of real life. It is a bit like crap eighties film Tron except in reverse. Leigh O is a bit like a Space Invader who has stepped into the real world. Or like Pinnochio; the refreshing QCT has allowed his pixelated form to become flesh, and he is at last a Real Boy.
He is definitely a Real Boy. I know this because he managed to keep up when drinking with the Couch Potato. That is no mean feat for an English person.
